The swindled is a film about con artists. This story’s only truth is that everything can be a lie. Ernesto has only done one thing in his whole life, to cheat. He knows the tricks of cheating from an old con artist called El Manco (manco is someone who only has one hand). He gets Ernesto in touch with a man he considers to be the best con ever, Federico, an elegant, clever and methodical swindler. Life couldn’t go better until Pilar, Federico’s ex-lover and partner, appears on the scene.

Carlos is a man who works in Oviedo (capital of Principality of Asturias, north to Spain) in a local TV as Kar-El, a fortune-teller who predicts the future of the people using digital tarot cards. In his daily life out of the work, Carlos is a lonely man living in his own world, stuck in the past unable to handle his own life and frustrated by his unsuccessful wishes to be an actor following the steps of his mother, Carmen, considered the most important Spanish actress of all times. But when a national TV channel offers Carlos the chance to appear in a famous TV show, it will force Carlos to face his actual situation about him and his family, making some discoveries: that his rebel and more experimented daughter Melina doesn’t want to be heavy metal’s singer but goalkeeper, that his shy son Jon is gay and that he doesn’t want lawyer but ballet dancer, and that Carmen is diagnosed with a terminal cancer…

You Choose is a comedy with realistic and current dramatic brushstrokes. Throughout a day cross the lives of several characters from different social classes, from the woman of fifty who still lives in adolescence, the millionaire lady who boredom gives lectures on Feng-Shui, via a star pop or an actor who tries to thrive. The actions of some affect others who do not even know, and in the end, everyone will face their dreams and ambitions with mixed fortunes.

Marc is a sad man because a congenital ill that can kill him at any moment. Filipino revolutionaries laid siege to a fortified church manned by colonial Spanish troops in the town of Baler, Philippines for 11 months, or 337 days. The battle is considered part of the Spanish–American War since the Filipinos were allied with the United States at the outset. That war ended in December 1898 with Spain’s surrender and annexation of the Philippines to the United States. However, cut off from communications with their own government and military, the Spanish forces continued their defense against the Filipino forces until 1899.
