In the framework of complying with the legislation on the protection of data of a personal nature, contained in the Constitutional Law 15/1999, of 13th December, whose objective is the guarantee and protection in the treatment of personal data, the liberty and fundamental rights of individuals especially of their honour and personal intimacy, the Gran Canaria Tourist Board lets its users know that technical and organisational measures have been adopted which satisfy that stipulated in current legislation.
The Data of a Personal Nature that is obtained in this form, is subject to automated treatment and is included in the file "Agenda" registered in the Agency for the Protection of Data under code number 2703060011, whose ownership belongs to the "Patronato de Turismo de Gran Canaria”. Likewise the confidentiality of the data with respect to consultation by users, both on the one hand by the Gran Canarian Tourist Board and on the other by those entities that on behalf of the former intervene in accordance with its purposes and aims, is guaranteed. If the user were not to consent to the inclusion of their data in this file, the registration of said data will not proceed, thus said user will not receive any notification or information about the Gran Canarian tourist market or newsletters in this respect.
The user can at all times, exercise their recognised rights in the aforementioned law; of access, correction, cancellation and opposition by means of the appropriate communication to the following electronic mail address: turismo@grancanaria.com or otherwise exercise these rights in the terms that the applicable legislation establishes, using different means included in the contact section of the internet Portal for Tourists at Grancanaria.com.
